Kevin Sanchez continues on his "I have a dream" campaign, urging us to visit
Freechild.org to write letters to major adult organizations to ask them for
our "rights." Kevin then responds to a backchannel message about the
anonymous person "supporting" Kevin's ideals, but supporting a dominating,
censoring relationship between adults and children. Kein does not realize
that this is an example of how adults will never look children the way they
do themselves. "Activists", like the anonymous one, that make up Kevin's
campaign want us to join their system leaving behind child culture that
includes "profanity," lack of "control", and lack of rigid culture- all
parts of the adult culture that has caused the doom that is contemporary
society. Children will never be free in the adult system, further
integration will be the cause of further fracturing of the brotherhood of
children. Kevin's site "Freechild.org" (more accurately-
imprisonchild.org)encourages practices that are meant to integrate children
into adult society, all of which will be/are a failure and will make the
condition of children in America worse. Freechild.org has webpages that
list "Allies of Youth"(adults that want us to forget our culture and join
the society that discriminates against us), webpages that promote
"intergenerational relationships," and webpages that explain how to
"involv[e] youth in community."(Note: these titles seem to either be an
adult talking ABOUT youth, not youth talking TO youth). Moreover,
"Freechild.org" "salutes" the Convention on the Rights of the Child- a
Convention ratified by almost every adult system in the world, a convention
that was not signed by a single child, a convention that did not seek the
advice of children, and a convention that promises to help destroy the child
culture as it integrates children into their dominating society.
"Freechild.org"'s suggested reading is a book called "Escape from
Childhood," a book written by an adult that tells other adults that the
system of adultism is flawed. As an alternative, the author suggests that
the idea of "childhood" does not exist and encourages children(or rather
encourages adults to encourage children) to, what else, "Escape from
Childhood"! Escape from Childhood?! The author wants us to denounce our
fun-loving culture? Try telling Blacks to "Escape from Afro-Americanism",
or Jews to "Escape from Judaism"! "Freechild.org" concludes with an
"assumption" that it wants all children to realize they are something
"larger than themselves." I assume this is talking about American society
as a whole. If this, in fact, is what "Freechil.org" is talking about,
they're wrong. Children will NEVER be part of the American(adult) system.
However, I do encourage children to realize they are part of the brotherhood
of children, to group ourselves in order to provide for ourselves the
power(different from "rights") that should be inherent to children and
exherent to the destructive adult.
